With this whisky glass, you will feel like an esteemed ambassador, as it was created for diplomatic use at the Czechoslovakian embassy in Sweden, built in the 1960s. A drinkware collection for a new embassy

The building of the new Czechoslovakian embassy in Sweden at the turn of 1960s and 1970s was a unique opportunity to showcase Czech design. While the building itself, as well as its furnishings, were designed by architect Jan Bočan, Stanislav Libenský was commissioned to create the new drinkware collection, leading to the creation of the Stockholm collection in 1969, its clean lines typical of the era. At Moser, we have been manufacturing this drinkware collection since 1972.

    Stanislav Libensky

We proudly consider Stanislav Libenský to be a great name in Czech glassmaking. This pioneer of glass sculpture was also an excellent teacher, mentoring many artists of succeeding generations. Thanks to him, glass became a material which was used for monumental artworks that now grace prestigious galleries and modern art museums all around the world.
