When the golden whisky fills this unusual crystal glass, the effect, created by Adolf Matura, is at its best. The two different geometrical shapes, a cylinder and a sphere, create unusual refractions of light. During a toast, the thin walls let the colour of the whisky shine through, starting a dance of reflections together with the massive base.

Design and production
The journey towards a distinctive style
The cooperation between Moser and artist and designer Adolf Matura started when the glassworks was looking for new drinkware design ideas. He created his first Moser designs in 1953 and between 1956 and 1960, he continued to create designs for the international glass exhibits in Milan, Bruxelles and Corning. Matura’s work reflects the breadth of his artistic scope. While the Geo collection takes a minimalist approach to drinkware glass, in his other creations, he uses pearl décor and floral motifs or, alternatively, a roughly structured surface.
