Glass for the Pope

Pope Pius XI is a significant personality who has been indefinitely associated with the history of the Moser glassworks. Leo Moser supplied the drinking set Pope 11520 for the residence of PIUS XI in Vatican in 1923.

On the occasion of his first visit to Czechoslovakia in 1990, Pope John Paul II was presented with a crystal cross manufactured in the Moser glassworks by President Václav Havel.
