Glass for Maharajahs

The unique execution, excellent reputation, but primarily precious appearance and exclusive character of the Moser sets attracted the attention of Indian maharajahs in the 1930s. Maharajah of Navancore, ruler of a West Indian state, ordered for his wife a set that was later named Maharani (maharajah's wife's name). The glassworks supplied the set Lady Hamilton, decorated with his coat-of-arms for the residence of Maharajah of Travancore in the mid-1930s. Maharajah of Rampur had the set Thomas decorated with his engraved monogram with a crown. Among the clientele there were also Maharajahs of Baroda and Devas.
