Edward VII
King Edward VII of England annually paid a visit to Karlovy Vary between the years 1903-1909. Together with his wife Alexandra he visited the Moser glassworks several times. There he ordered a new drinking set decorated with the royal coat-of-arms. Since then, the set has been bearing a characteristic name Royal. King of England expressed his satisfaction with the products on 25 January 1908 by awarding the title of a court purveyor to the English royal family to Ludwig Moser and his two sons.
