SHOW
The Tabletop Show, one of the most significant exhibitions in New York focused on the presentation of prestigious brands, design and modern trends, was traditionally held from 17th to 20th April 2012. Companies were presenting their collections either in their permanent showrooms in the Forty One Madison Avenue building or in individual sales galleries in the City. Moser has introduced a new collection for 2012 consisted of both fresh design innovations and classic works of art.

Moser glassworks has participated on three prestigious International Trade Fairs at the beginning of the year, Maison & Objet in Paris, Macef in Milano and Ambiente in Frankfurt. These fairs belong to the absolute top among trade fairs focused on interior design, decorations and life style. Moser glassworks has launched a new collection for the year 2012, in which modern artefacts impressive by their manufacturing and dimensions have dominated. At the same time Moser manufacture has presented a collection of art exhibits inspired by Moser glassworks’ historical legacy. Trendy bar sets or crystal vases decorated with platinum or by exclusive engraving have complemented the rich offer. With Emil Viklicky in Hong Kong
Moser glassworks supported the participation of legendary jazz band “Emil Viklický’ trio” that performed in front of nearly 20 000 jazz fans from the whole world at the 4th International Jazz Festival in Hong Kong City Hall on 29th September 2011. There were an unbelievable participation of 300 artists from 24 countries and 6 continents. The common motto of the festival was –“Music makes friends”. Thousands of spectators could listen to worldwide famous jazz stars, many-times winners of Grammy, and a new young generation of jazzmen playing classical or modern jazz.
This year has been moreover one of the most important for Emil Viklický, jazz pianist and composer who is considered one of the most original personalities of Czech music branch when he was decorated with the state order “For merits” by President of the Czech Republic.

Moser in exotic Taiwan | Inspirative charm of the Orient
One of the busiest cities of the world Taipei on Taiwan witnessed an extraordinary event. The company Opulent State Life Corporation, the Moser glassworks’ exclusive partner, ceremonially opened a luxurious sales gallery that looks like chateau palace built in European style.
There are outstanding collections of European luxurious furniture which impressively match Moser crystal, brand porcelain, chandeliers, bronze sculptures and other brand interior accessories. Entering the palace you will be surrounded by luxury, taste, refinement and elegance.
The social event was held in the shopping centre City Hall Sogo connected with an engraving presentation “Moser event 2011”. The exhibition was presented as “Taiwan 100 – Splendid 100” since 100th anniversary of establishing the Republic of China was celebrated side by side 100th anniversary of the legendary Splendid set. A special limited collection dedicated this set was a substantial part of the exhibitions.

Master engraver presented his engraving mastery in Tokyo
Meiwa, long-time Japanese partner of Moser glassworks, organised already the 8th engraving presentation in Tokyo. The event, that is considered to be the largest and at the same time the essential event of the year concentrating on presentation and sale of Moser products, is traditionally held in the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo. This year the master engraver Milan Holoubek presented his engraving mastery in front of nearly 2000 visitors. Moser glassworks through their partner presented an annual collection Splendid and also new works created especially for Japanese customers (e.g. vase with engraved motifs of dragons).

Moser glassworks participated the second time at the exhibition with appropriate name 100% Design Shanghai (International Home Decor & Design). These days it is the most substantial exhibition of the best interior design that attracts attention of the press and instigates an interest in design. Astropower Crystal, the Chinese partner of Moser glassworks, presented a representative selection of exhibits. Throughout the event many conferences took place where important designers, architects and developers discussed topics about “Luxury, sustainability, estimation of future development of business, case studies and Chinese market”.

President of the United States by Petr Nečas Prime Minister of the
Czech Republic on 27th October 2011. “Moser brand products suitably
represent the Czech Republic therefore this set was elected to be
the gift for Barack Obama President of the United States“,
said Prime Minister’s speaker. Moser crystal glass again

Czech design in India
On 9th to13th May 2011 the Exhibition of the Czech design took place in Delhi and Mumbai in India. Representatives of the most successful Czech companies producing quality table-top items, including Moser, were present. The event was organized with the support of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, the Czech Trade Agency for Foreign Trade and the Czech Embassy in India.

100 years of Splendid suite celebration in Moscow
Mezonin, the most popular Russian interior magazine holds yearly an exhibition of housing architecture in the Moscow state gallery Maly Manezh under the title of “Week of Decoration”. This year’s exhibition took place from 8th to 12th June 2011 during which a presentation commemorating 100 anniversary of Splendid drinking collection was presented by our exclusive business partner Dom Farfora. The show was attended by both interior designers and clients of Dom Farfora whose already seventh retail outlet has recently been opened in the capital. The event was boosted by our engraver Vlastimil Selinger having demonstrated his mastery craft there with individual monograms personally engraved by him on clients’ purchased products.

Success of the new Moser Crystal Collection in New York
The New York Table Top Fair, one of the largest world’ regular Exhibition of consumers goods again opened the doors to world leaders in crystal tableware. The show took place on 12th to 15th April. Trade visitors were allured by Moser crystal products thanks to new daring shapes and colours shown earlier this year on Ambiente Frankfurt. Novelties from the Fresh from Moser collection were subject to general interest and looked up by customers on all local US Marts organized by MGP, the Moser distributor in the United States.

Splendid dazzled
in Madrid
Splendid 100, the legendary collection of crystal tableware and decorative art objects was presented in the historical representative rooms of famous Casino de Madrid on 5th April 2011. Exquisite Splendid crystal glasses with monograms of Spanish King Alfons XIII, British Queen Elizabeth II and Turkish President Abdullah Güla impressively glared on display. Limited edition of the latest Splendid art sculptures were admired by all guests including delegates of the Spanish King Palace, Madrid Town administration, local celebrities and foreign ambassadors.
