Pelcl Jiří

* 22.9.1950, Postřelmov, Czech Republic

He is an important personality in the field of design in the Czech Republic and abroad. He is a professor at the Academy for Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and was the rector from 2002-2005.

Besides practical design activities for industrial production he is engaged in design theory giving university lectures at home and abroad and publishing.
