How is the Moser crystal produced?

Moser ecologically friendly lead-free crystal is exclusive hand made by master glassmakers, cutters, engravers or painters. Hand glassmaking is a process of few steps.

First the molten glass is melt, then the master glassmakers blow and shape hot glass to a specific shape. This shaped and hot product is moved to cooling kiln, where is cooled. Some of products such as massive vase or bowl is cooled for up to 48 hours. After cooling the product is checked on first level of quality. If it contains bubbles or another pollution or the size is wrong, it is broken. Flawless products then are moved to basic cut. It provides no sharp edges, that means the bottom and the upper rim is cut. Then the product is moved to decorating process. Among these decorations belong art cut into edges, diamond cut or cut of waves. Another technique is art engraving, hand painting or painting with a 24K gold or platinum. After burning some of gilded products we polish the gold to a high gloss. After every used technique comes the quality control. Only perfect product is signed by Moser, a Certificate of Authenticity is provided and then goes to the customer.
