Hand painting of the glass
The technology of hand painting of glass belongs to the group of techniques, which Moser restored by the opportunity of the 150th anniversary of its foundation. It is a very sophisticated technology of handicraft, which isn´t very spread among artists all over the world in the standards of Moser´s quality. The most commonly used design of the Moser´s painted glass of the 80s of the 19th century were oak branches with leaves in five colours complemented by gilded acorns. This design was often complemented by relief paintings of birds. First, the glass is interlaced by a thick relief colour of white, after first burning the other colours are laid on. Then the acorns are adhered and the last procedure is gilding. The final effect is wonderful, together with the inlays painting is the most appreciated technology of the sophisticated customers. This technique of paiting has been retrieved after more than 100 years in Moser.
