Field of Study in the Moser glassworks

All the employees take regularly part in courses and training courses, which aim to deepen and extend their qualification. Annually, the plan of staff education is updated with the emphasis on particular professions and their possible substitution by each other. There are language courses and PC literacy courses for different levels of the participants available. In order to perform the key glassmaking professions, the Moser glassworks offers all the students who finished the elementary school the following fields of study:

Glassmaker of round/mouth blown/ and pressed glass

Students familiarize themselves with the glass characteristics. They learn basic operations at the glass furnace.

Glass cutter

Students in this field learn to refine glass by cutting on cutting machines.

Entrance conditions:

The appropriate study results at the elementary school and the application form handed in at the Vocational school - SOU keramické a sklářské a Učiliště, Závodu míru 144, 360 17 K. Vary - by the deadline.

After students successfully finish the courser, Moser offers them:

  • contribution at the amount of CZK 1,000 for school equipment as freshmen
  • recruitment contribution at the amount of CZK 50,000 upon the working contract signature
  • wages above the average
  • medical care, including rehabilitation in the company facility
  • possible help with the housing shortage
