Sandblasted Motif: Lost in the Waves

The engraved and sand blasted motifs are inspired by the works of the Czech graphic artist and illustrator Lenka Kocierzová. Motifs on glass are for L. Kocierzová reflections of her soul. Here is a story accompanying each of her “pictures“:

Lost in the waves
"Waves are rather a symbol of life with its everyday troubles and worries. Every woman gets tossed by them daily. We fight them now, we get rocked by them and drifted away another time, or they make us sleepy. The waves sometimes toss you, sometimes they caress and sometimes they drag you to the bottom until you are exhausted. I haven´t ended up in the waves, I have two daughters and I had to learn to swim and always reach a solid ground."
