A sophisticated combination of black-green bronze and glass produces an impressive effect. Karel Bečvář, for whom bronze has become his favourite material, found inspiration in Greek sculpture when designing the candleholder. The name of the candleholder KORE comes from the Greek language and depicts a woman figure which a frequent symbol in Greek sculpture. The woman is holding an oil lamp which is only freely positioned in her hands.
