The timeless shape of the vase All the Jazz was selected by Petr Vadura purposefully both for its elegance and, primarily, for its simplicity highlighting the legible graphic effect. The decoration itself is as if "tuned to" in the upper and lower parts of the object in two versions. In the upper part there are motifs cut in a classical way into the transparent base. In the lower part, then, the identical motifs stand out in a relief on a matted field. The aim of this graphic structuring is "a rhythmical composition" of a jazz character. The contrast between black and white piano stops and round notes cast on the score is symbolized here as the positive and the negative, as the depth and the relief. This "jazz" improvisation is certainly a guise for the author to use original means of expressions and to combine classical glassmaking techniques in their new modifications on the sophisticated elegant back round. The vase is offered in the basic Moser colours and clear in a limited edition of 50 pieces. Each piece, designed in 2005, is signed by the artist and Moser, numbered and complemented with a Certificate of Authenticity.
